A rolling bearing can only achieve its calcu­lated nominal service life if a suitable lubricant has been selected beforehand. Even today, 80% of all premature bearing failures are still attri­bu­table to inade­quate lubri­cation. There is no universal lubricant that covers all appli­ca­tions. Different operating condi­tions therefore always require different lubri­cants.

Given the wide variety of greases available today, we do not face the problem of having too few options. Rather, finding the optimal lubricant for your specific appli­cation is very difficult, time-consuming, and expensive.
