We develop custom rolling bearing solutions when standard bearings reach their limits. In doing so, we can tailor the geometry, materials, bearing clearance, lubri­cation, and seals speci­fi­cally to the appli­cation in question, provided that the internal bearing design does not need to be modified. The inner diameter, outer diameter, and bearing width can deviate from DIN dimen­sions and be custo­mized to meet specific customer requi­re­ments.

Manufac­turing takes place at our partner plants in accordance with our technical speci­fi­ca­tions and quality standards.

Yes, hybrid bearings are part of our product portfolio.

These combine steel rings with ceramic rolling elements and offer advan­tages such as lower friction and electrical insulation, making them parti­cu­larly suitable for high-speed appli­ca­tions

We design hybrid bearings speci­fi­cally for your appli­cation and have them manufac­tured at our partner facilities according to our speci­fi­ca­tions.

Without the right lubricant, a rolling bearing cannot operate reliably—and depending on the requi­re­ments, standard lubri­cants are often unsui­table.

With our custom lubri­cation service and over 250 lubri­cants in stock, we provide your bearings with the optimal lubricant right here in our own production facility. We ensure that the lubricant selected for your appli­cation is suitable for your specific use and that your components operate properly.

Thanks to an inventory of over seven million items, we can usually deliver very quickly. This saves you time and money. In addition, our production facility can assemble the right product for you on short notice.

Yes, in close consul­tation with the customer, SBN is able to offer even small assembly units. In such cases, we supply not only individual rolling bearings but also complete bearing assem­blies.

In addition to our line of precision rolling bearings, we carry an extensive range of linear motion products. These include profile rail guides, ball screws, linear guides, and roller tables.

We actively support our customers with technical design—not just with product selection.

To do this, we analyze the appli­cation in detail (e.g., loads, speeds, environ­mental condi­tions, service life requi­re­ments) and, based on that, develop a suitable solution—including service life calcu­la­tions, etc.

If necessary, we go a step further and optimize existing designs or work with the customer to develop custo­mized solutions.

Yes. We conduct warehouse inspec­tions and return analyses to syste­ma­ti­cally identify the causes of damage and optimize usage. At our headquarters in Schönenberg-Kübelberg, we have a testing room equipped with the necessary equipment.

We consider not only the bearing itself, but also its instal­lation confi­gu­ration, operating condi­tions, and potential influencing factors. The goal is to prevent future failures and extend the service life of the appli­cation.

We always select materials based on the specific appli­cation and operating condi­tions. Among other materials, we use highly heat-treated rolling-element bearing steels as well as—for special requirements—corrosion-resistant steels, special materials, or ceramic rolling elements in hybrid bearings.

The focus is always on achieving the optimal combi­nation of service life, durability, and cost-effec­ti­veness.
